10年も前に少年ジャンプにて連載されていた作品だが、
今見ても色あせないシナリオが秀逸！
最近出ているOVAもこのシナリオを踏襲している作品が
多いのではないでしょうか？

前回のOVAとは違い、漫画のシナリオを忠実に再現しているだけあって、
いい意味で、もどかしい青春ラブストーリーになっていると思う
この辺りが桂正和ワールドなのだろう

作画のクオリティーも時代に伴い向上しているのは勿論
やはりシナリオに酔いしれたい作品である。

私にはこのような甘酸っぱい青春は無かったが・・・orz

いわずと知れた、黄金時代の週刊少年ジャンプに掲載された桂正和作品のアニメ化。
完全オリジナルのストーリーだった前の作品よりも、かなり登場人物の心の動きに重きをおいてつくられた作品になっていると思います（お色気シーンは特典映像の「一貴の妄想日記」のほうに収録されてるので、一口で二度楽しめるかも（笑））。
思春期に特有な酸っぱさ、向けどころのないやるせなさを抱えながら生活していた学生生活のあの頃。自分にはそんな「いい頃」はなかったと思っているけれど、本当はそのことを今の日々にかまけて忘れているだけかもしれない。この作品は、そんなことを考えさせてくれました。

　原作は言わずと知れたアイズで、「色んな所」に熱狂的なファンがいる事で知られる
この作品ですが、今このＤＶＤを見終わって思ったのは、素直にクォリティの高さが
感じられました。
　監督が「エルフェンリート」を作った神戸守さんなのもあると思いますが、この方は
原作が持つ独自の世界観を壊さずにいわゆる「神シナリオ」を作れる稀有な方ですので
その技術力が原作の良さに非常のシンクロしたように思えます。
