きわめて歯切れの良い演奏、特にドラムスは実にシャープな音。そのグッドサウンドに乗せられる土岐麻子さんのヴォーカルも実に歯切れが良く、魅力的です。彼女は、オリジナル作品のＤｅｂｕｔでは結構オバサンぽい歌い方をしていてそれがまた良かったのですが、スタンダードジャズのアルバムになるとかえって若々しい歌声になるようですね。良いです。私の好きな曲、スタイリスティックスの「誓い」You Make Me Feel Brand Newでは、低音部では声の伸びが今ひとつという印象ですが、高音部では実に魅力的な歌声を披露してくれています。その他の曲も気持ちの良い演奏と歌で、全体的に完成度の高いアルバムになっています。

土岐さんのSTANDARDシリーズの第１弾から聞いています。
彼女の独特のやわらかい歌声が、抜群ですよね。
アルバムの中では YOU MAKE ME FEEL BRAND NEW DAYS が一番土岐さんの歌声が活きていて気持ちがよかったです。
まだ、MY FUNNY VALENTINE　などの重い曲だと彼女の声では軽い印象を受けてしまいますが、これはこれでまた彼女らくしてよいのではないかと思います。
スイングしなくちゃ意味がない　では、今までになかった（？）長めのアドリブにも挑戦していて、今後の活躍が期待できました。
特にこれからJAZZを聞き始めたいという方にオススメしたい一枚です。

テレビで偶然土岐さんを知りました。にわかファンのくちですが、とても好きです。よく知られたジャズも、土岐さんがうたうと何だかステキ、そしてモダン、そして時に重厚。よく知っている曲ばかりなのに、「あれ？こんないい曲だったっけ？」と思わせるアレンジです。

ドライブにぴったりだな、と思います。このＣＤを聞きながら夜のハイウェイを走るだけで、なんだか大人な夜を過ごせそう。月並みな感想ばかりですが、とりあえず土岐さんの曲を他にもたくさん聞きたい、そう強く思わせるアルバムでした。
