３ヶ月連続リリースのシングルのセールスが伸びず、やきもきしたフアンが多かったことことだろう。
確かに彼らの人気は既にピークを過ぎており、若い世代には、なかなか受け入れられていないというのが現状だろう。
しかし楽曲のクオリティーやＲＹＵＩＣＨＩのボーカルの表現力などは、止まることなく進化してる。
演奏の技術のことはわからないが、確かに心地よい音の波が流れてる。
音を楽しむという感覚においては限りなく良質と言えるだろう。
彼らが、ＬＵＮＡ　ＳＥＡの再結成よりも、この形を選んだ理由が、月末リリースのこの１ｓｔアルバムの曲たちの断片に刻まれていることだろう。

このユニットは、まさしくLUNA SEAでもなければ河村隆一でもない。
新しい音を奏でている感じがする。もっと甘ったるい歌い方の曲が多いのかと思いきやそうでもなかった。そこには真矢もJもSUGIZOもいないけどなんだか引き込まれた。
収録されてる曲では＃６の「Lose it」と表題曲の「HEAVEN」、最後の「もう一度君に」が気にいった。特に「HEAVEN」は後期のLUNA SEAでRYUICHIがやりたかったことなんではないかと思ってしまった。
下の方が書いていた「Lose it」の後半部分の音飛び？ですが、狙いなのかそういう仕様なんではないでしょうか？私のもはっきりわかるような感じでした。とにかくおススメです。

　Tourbillonを「河村隆一」を中心としたユニットと解釈しているなら、それは大間違いである。LUNA SEA、河村隆一、FAKE？、D-LOOPといった彼らの過去を打ち破った全くの新型である。
　楽曲の構成だけを見ると、RYUICHI:INORAN:葉山拓亮＝6:2:5(協同作曲を含む)で、やはり河村色が強いのかと思えそうだが、実際はRYUICHI作品でもLUNA SEAの新曲と言っても疑いようのないロック調の楽曲もある。「Hyper na blue」はそうと言える。INORAN、葉山拓亮も同様、過去の作品にはないような作品を投入している。
　今後、ライブや新たな作品をつくることでtourbillonらしさが更に表現されていくだろうと予感させるアルバムである。
