このCDについて

2005年10月より放送開始の『ソルティレイ』の主題歌を担当するのは、meg rock(日向めぐみ)・（メロキュア、TVアニメ『ピーチガール』オープニング主題歌「ベビーローテンション」など）。アンドロイドの少女の物語を描くSFミッドセンチュリー・アクションアニメの本作の世界観に合わせ、meg rockが懇親の力を込めて楽曲を制作いたしました。

アニメは、もはや日本No.1のクオリティを誇るゴンゾがプロデュース。アートモダンな未来世界を舞台とした作品に豪華スタッフ陣が揃いました。監督は平池芳正（カレイドスター）、キャラクターデザイン：Shuzilow.HA（ツインビー、パロディウス）、企画協力：谷口悟朗（舞-HiME、プラネテス、ガン×ソード）。


内容（「CDジャーナル」データベースより）

SF美少女アニメの主題歌。「ピーチガール」のヒットでも知られるmeg rockこと日向めぐみが、本編のアート・モダンな雰囲気の世界観を見事にサウンドで表現。ゴンゾのプロデュースという申し分のないクオリティだ。

「可愛いロック！」
言葉足らずな自分がこの曲から感じた事を精一杯表現した言葉です。
メロディーは爽快感溢れるロックなのに、ヴォーカルはとても可愛らしい声。
一見不釣合いな組合せに感じても、聴いてみると全然そんなことは無くて、むしろ聴きやすく、それでいて何故かカッコイイ。そんな曲です。

アニメのCDシングルは滅多に買いませんが、これはこの秋に始まったアニメ作品の主題歌の中でも特に印象に残ったので買いました。アニメの絵抜きで単体でも楽しめる良い曲だと思います。歌詞も印象的な響きがありますね。重すぎず、軽すぎず、時にはこういった曲を聴くのも良いものです。
it’s-your-turn-mix-「君の番だよミックス」早い話がカラオケですが、中々洒落た表現ですね。
アニメの方も、主人公が女の子になった「鉄腕アトム」みたいで、中々面白いですよ。
