I'veの歌姫の一人、川田まみさんのメジャー2ndシングル。
10月より放映中のTVアニメ『灼眼のシャナ』のOPテーマソングです。

『緋色の空』はスピード感のあるカッコイイ楽曲で、曲は良いです。
初めてI'veの曲を聴いた方は、この曲は印象に残ると思います。
なので『☆5つ』を付けたいところですが、前シングル「radiance」と比較すると雰囲気の似ている楽曲で、川田まみさんの新曲としては少々物足りなさを感じたので『☆4つ』にしました。

『another planet』はバラード系の曲で、I'veの曲では久しぶりに新鮮な感じの曲を聴いた気がします。
個人的には『another planet−twilight−』の編曲の方が好きです。
井内（羽越）さんらしく、オーケストラを前面に出した編曲でとても良かった。

I'veや川田まみさんを知らない方は、このCDを聴いてファンになるだろうと思う1枚です。

シャナのオープニング曲です これだけでも世界観を味わえる気が カップリング曲もなかなかです どちらも夕暮れ時って感じで哀愁を誘います

テンポが良く、切れのあるサウンドを作り出す中沢。
そこにまみの圧倒的な歌声と歌詞がのる「緋色の空」。
スピード感に溢れ、聴き手を魅了する、
本当にカッコいい一曲に仕上がっています！
初回限定盤には「緋色の空」のPV（2種類）とメイキングが収録されています。
PVは非常に出来が良く、妖艶な動きをするダンサー2人に釘付け間違いなしです。
もちろんまみのカッコいい演出も見逃せません。
