１〜４まで持ってますが、その後５、６を購入するか否か迷っていました。
しかし見仏欲がムラムラと湧いてきて、いてもたってもいられず思い切って購入。
鑑賞すると、今までの迷いが吹き飛びました。
こうシリーズが長く続くと、案内役おふたりの見物コメントももしかしてダレてくるのでは…という失礼な予想を裏切ってくれました。

お寺というものが新しく見えるこのＤＶＤ。二人の軽妙なトークが楽しいのはスライドショーと同様ですが、なにより今の若い人たちには「仏像の新しい見方」を示してくれているように思います。旅行などで寺院へ行った時にはきっと違う目線で見れる筈です。

初日は舞鶴。まずは金剛院の快慶作の深沙大将に脱帽です。
その金剛院で、お寺グッズの虫眼鏡をいとうせいこうに買わせるみうらじゅんだが、じぶんの土産マニア心にも火がついたのか、天橋立の近くのみやげ物屋に、股覗きグッズを求めて寄り道する。
ところで、ＴＶ見仏記の楽しみの一つは、案内に出てくる住職さんや僧侶の方々との出会いなんですけど、続いて訪れた天橋立の智恩寺でも、案内のご住職がまるで羅漢のような、俗世間から超越した雰囲気を醸していい感じです。もちろん仏像もすばらしい。日本三大文殊とよばれる文殊菩薩像と獅子との名コンビぶりは言うに及ばず、摩利支天など珍しい仏像もいっぱいです。
翌日は、京都市内に移動して千本えんま堂へ。見仏人たちはここでえんま様に対面し、模擬裁判を受けることに。ここの案内人のお話も面白い。続いてオフィス街の中にある意外に知られていない異形仏にであう。
