”Boyfriend”が気に入ってアルバムも買いました。
俺は嫌いではありません。ポップもR&Bも好きなんで。

”Boyfriend”や”In another Life”などの王道ポップロックや、”L.O.V.E.”などのちょいR&B混じりなものなど様々なタイプの曲があって、
これがアシュリーがやってみたかったことなんだろうな、と思います。
アルバムタイトル曲の”I Am Me”は聴いててスカッとするし、”Catch me when I Fall”もしっとりしてて良い感じ。
そしてアシュリーが”L.O.V.E.”や”Burnin' Up”などのテイストに挑戦したのはとても驚きました。
でも自然に歌いこなしてもいたし、俺はこれはこれで有りかなとは思いました。

しかし、一般論からすれば”アシュリーは結局どういった方向で音楽をやりたいの？”と言われても仕方が無いはず。
実際このアルバムはファンからしても賛否両論っぽいです。
確かに”L.O.V.E.”などを歌ったのは彼女がそういったものに挑戦したかったからでしょう。
でもこれらを歌ったことで”Autobiography”時のアシュリーが好きだった人は、確実にファンから離れちゃったはず。
俺は別にどちらも好きなんでそんなに気にしてはいませんが。ただちょっと中途半端かな。
それにしても”L.O.V.E.”に関してはミッシー・エリオットとのリミックスまで作っちゃってます。
これはアシュリーがR&Bテイストに挑戦した以上に驚きました。ミッシーとアシュリー！？みたいな。

これからはポップロックだけでは無く、R&Bポップも頻繁に歌っていくアシュリーになっちゃうんでしょうか・・・？
ただそうなると普通のアイドルに過ぎない気がするんですよね。
それに一般受けするんでしょうか・・・

Boyfriend聞いてｱｼｭﾘｰを知り、
ちょうどｱﾙﾊﾞﾑが出た頃だったんで、思い切って買ってみました。1,2,3,4,5と聞いて即気に入りました。
確かに買った時より聞く回数は減ってるし、
6〜は似ている曲が続くけど、
1〜5は単純にいい曲だと思います。(特に１と２と５がｵｽｽﾒ)
私はまだ1stｱﾙﾊﾞﾑを聞いてないんで前のｱﾙﾊﾞﾑを比較はできませんが
1980円なら買っても私は全然いいかなって思います。

ジェシカ･シンプソンの妹、アシュリーの待望の２枚目。

１年ぶりの近作。
更に成長したアシュリーの歌声を聴ける。

ヒットしたシングル、ボーイフレンドを始めいい曲が満載。
日本ボーナストラックでボーイフレンドのPVビデオも入っており、ぜひ日本版を買いたいところ。

近作からでも十分聴きやすいですよ。
