彼は年齢的には私の親の世代。このアルバムの題名の曲を歌ったStevieとは1歳しか違わない。30歳前後から才能を開花させた大器晩成型の音楽家だった。私が彼の音楽を好きになったのも20歳過ぎ。まさに大人の為に創った人物。彼の創った曲だけでなく取り上げたカバーが混じっている所が大きな特徴。USHERは彼が編曲したCarpentersでも有名な曲を忠実に再現している所に敬意が現れている。DonnaSummerの様に得意の編曲で歌った曲もあるが、私はやはりStevieとBeyonceの共演に尽きる。夢の様な一時を提供したLutherの偉大さに感謝しつつ哀悼の意を捧げよう。R.I.P.

最近気になっていたアルバムを購入しました。思った以上にいいアルバムでした。ルーサーの曲をそれぞれのスター達が見事に歌い上げています。特によかったのはＵＳＨＥＲのスーパースターでした！若くして亡くなったルーサーですが、彼もきっと天国で喜んでいるでしょう。
