これまで数々の柴田恭兵ベストアルバムが発売されていましたが、今回の「あぶない刑事 YUJI THE BEST」はまさに最高傑作のベストと言えます。
このアルバムの最大の魅力は、長年に渡ってファンが最もＣＤ化を望んでいた「真夜中のステップ」、「ラブロマンス」、そして「ＷＡＲ」のＥＰシングルバージョンの３曲がついにＣＤ化をされたという点です。この３曲のＣＤ化に関してはほぼ諦めていたファンも数多くいた中でついにその念願が叶った夢のようなアルバムと言えます。
この３曲以外にもこれまで柴田恭兵名義のオリジナルアルバムやあぶない刑事サウンドトラックに収録されていなかったＣＤシングルカップリング曲も完全収録の上に、これまで数多くバージョンが作られていた柴田恭兵を代表する名曲「ランニングショット」の新リミックスを含む全バージョンを収録。そして全曲デジタルリマスタリングによる完璧な音質、さらにブックレットには一曲ごとの詳しい解説やあぶない刑事での使用場面を完全解説するなど、コアな柴田恭兵ファンには涙ものの素晴らしい内容のベストアルバムになっています。
もちろん柴田恭兵ファンじゃなくても、「昔あぶない刑事を見て、柴田恭兵の挿入歌をチラっと覚えている」という人でも十分楽しめるアルバムだと思います。本当に価値のあるベストアルバムです。

もう、ほんとかっこいい！！
おすすめの点は他の方が書かれてるんですがあまりにも気に入ってしまったので投稿せずにいられませんでした。
とにかく名曲ぞろい！車用と家用と保存用3枚買ってしまいました。
特に聴きながら車走らせると超気持ちいいですよ。レパードじゃないけど…。
