Windows 機専用ではなく同梱のソフトウェアが利用できないだけ。
ドライブ本体の Mac OS X 搭載機種での利用および B&W(ハードウェアエンコーダ搭載機種)みたいな古い機種などへも内蔵搭載可能です。

DVDを使う必要性から、購入しました。
DVD-RAMには対応していないですが、それ以外には対応しており、書き込み速度も特に遅いということはありませんでした。
何より値段的にとてもお買い得で、何を買っていいか解らない初めての方にはお勧めできる商品ではないでしょうか。
