Ｊ−ＰＯＰの歴史の中で最高のエンターテインメントを感じさせた米米CLUBの9年ぶりの再活動は嬉しい限りです。
ジェームス小野田のライヴパフォーマンスは類を見ませんし、魅力的なサックスを奏でるフラッシュ金子、そして圧倒的な存在感があるカールスモーキー石井のなんでもありのステージは特別の存在だと思います。シュークリームシュの金子美奈子（旧姓・石井）らのワクワクさせるダンスも含めて全てが米米CLUBの魅力を形作っていました。どこを見渡しても彼らに匹敵するグループの存在が確認できないことからもその卓越した個性が光り輝いています。ヴィジュアル面にも相当凝ったステージ作りは他のアーティストとは一線を画していました。

この2枚組みのＣＤは、そんな米米CLUBファンを納得させるベストの選曲となっています。特に彼らの代表曲を聴きたい、という欲求に一番応えることのできるアルバムでしょう。「ア・ブラ・カダ・ブラ」「FUNK FUJIYAMA」「なんですか これは」など楽しさ満載の「オドル三枚目」と、「浪漫飛行」「君がいるだけで」などの大ヒット曲や「手紙」「愛してる」などの究極のラヴ・バラードを収めた「ウタウ二枚目」とで構成されています。どちらのＣＤもとても個性的な曲の缶詰のようですから。

カールスモーキー石井の透明で哀愁を帯びたヴォーカルがとてもステキな日本のＡ.Ｏ.Ｒ.のハシリとも言える「TIME　STOP」は好きな曲です。大人のロックがなかなか育たないＪ−ＰＯＰの中で、このようなサウンドが生み出されていたことに拍手を送りたいですね。

「あっ、これも聴いたことがある。」という
おいしい曲ばかりのアルバムになっています。
シングルカットされた曲は
文句なしに思いっきり楽しめますが、
中には、しぶい名曲も隠されています。
ディスク２の「ＴＩＭＥ　ＳＴＯＰ」は、
初期の頃のスローバラードなんですが、
すごくおしゃれな曲で、大人の雰囲気を感じさせてくれますよ。

k2cのファンだったので購入しましたが、みんなが選ぶベストなのでシングル
がほとんどですね。
でもどれも好きな歌なので満足です。
踊る三枚目は出勤時に聞いてテンションあげて仕事に向かっています。
二枚目の方は休日とかに聞いています。
でも踊る・・の方が楽しくて元気になるので聴く回数が多いかな。
subwaybluesは笑えます・・・。
