　15年位前にCD選書シリーズとして発売されていたCDの再発です。LPとして吹き込まれたのは20年以上前になります。私のお薦めは南佳孝とのデュエット曲「クール・ダウン」です。二人の持ち味が十分に生かされたスロー・テンポの曲です。坂本龍一の作品など聴き所は他にもあります。今ラジの作品を聞きなおしてみると、彼女の歌声は素直で美しく、とても澄んだ声だなと再認識している次第です。もう1枚のCD「Heart To Heart」と合わせて私の20年来の愛聴盤です。

いい。クールダウンは日本の名曲１００選に入ってもおかしくない曲です。ラジのからみつくハスキーメロデイーに南佳孝のセクシーヴォイス。大人の駆け引きの恋をしっとりとメロデイアスにさらりと歌い上げてる、いいなー。当時年上の人との恋の駆け引きを楽しんでた頃がなつかしいです。ある意味南佳孝の最高傑作ではないかと。ラジの本髄ここにありって感じがします。都会？の夜景の中に天使が堕ちてゆくさまなんて、来生えつこってなんてかっこいいんでしょ。HEARTtoHEARTとQUATREはレコードバージョンはもってたんですがLoveHeartは昔のオープンリールでしかなかったので今回のCD発売即買いでした。

皆さん書かれてる通り南とのデュエットはいいですね。しかし僕はラストの「ジャスト・イン・ザ・レイン」がオススメ。「雨に唄えば」みたいな、雨=負の要素を逆にポジティブに唄っているのが気持いい。山下達郎のコーラスも竹内まりやの「ドリーム・オブ・ユー」の時みたいでいいですよ〜。
