plastics解散後、ギターをSAXに持ち替えた立花ハジメのソロ第1作。
全篇フリーキーな（とういうと聞こえはいいが正直下手だっただけ？）
なSAXがメイン。といっても同時期のラウンジリザーズやジェームス
チャンスのクールさとは一線を画したキュートかつＰＯＰな世界が展開する。
中学生の頃聞いて「ああほんとに音楽って何をやってもいいし楽しいものだ」
と思ったのを思い出す。アートワークも今見ても斬新そのもの

これはヘタウマでなく計算済みのウマヘタです。この頃のアルプスはおもしろかった。いわゆるひとつのアルプスのおぢさんハジメてところでしょうか?

こういう、実験的でありながらポップでもある音楽は今どこへいったら聴けるのか。探せばあるんだろうけど、分かりやすい場所に転がっていてほしいものです。
坂本教授のギクシャクしたドラムが聴ける表題曲がいい。
