5.0 out of 5 stars ソロ3面＋グループ1面という編成の作品集, 2005/11/6
このアルバムは、ELPの3人が各自ソロ・アルバムを制作していたのに、
そのソロ企画を中止し、既に作っていた曲を持ち寄って各自(LPの)1面
を担当、最後の4面でグループとしての演奏を披露しています。
結果として4つのパートはそれぞれまったく別個の音楽性に基づいた
ものになっています。各人の趣味が他のメンバーに制御されないため、
やりすぎという感じもしますが、通して聴くと、何故か不思議な程
バランスが良い仕上がりになっています。グループ面収録の２曲は
ELPの代表曲であり、ライブでも頻繁にレパートリーに加えられまし
た。ソロ面も充実していて、名作と呼べる仕上がりとなっています。
