ジャズでは、とりあえずマイルス聴いとけ！みたいなところがあって、入門編としては最適です。
僕も最初に買ったジャズのＣＤはこのリラクシンでした。マラソンセッション4部作の内の1枚です。
（ちなみに、ワーキン・クッキン・スティーミンがあとの３枚）
なんといっても特筆すべきはこのジャケットのセンスの良さ!!もはやアート、秀逸です。
最大の聴き所は2曲目のユーア・マイ・エヴリシングの冒頭に。
ピアノのガーランドが単音でイントロを弾き始めるんだけど、
マイルスが口笛を吹いてそれを制し一言「ブロックコード!!」…（静寂）。
つまりブロックコードで弾け、という訳です。迫力の帝王マイルス。
気を取り直したガーランドがブロックコードでイントロ弾きなおすんだけど、
リラクシンとか言っときながらぜんぜんリラックスして無いじゃん、とツッコミたくなっちゃいますよ。
とは言え、名盤中の名盤。文句なく５つ星のお奨め盤でしょう。
