~早いものでもう来月にはクイーンが来日します。
ライブに行く予習のつもりでこのCDを聴きました。
「世間ではあんなのクイーンじゃない」なんて声をよく聞きますが
このCDを聴いてから言ってる？という感じです。
ポールにフレディの代役を求めている人は納得いかないと思いますが
純粋に曲とパフォーマンスを見れば（聴けば）とても素晴らしいショウでし~~た。
約１０年前にロジャーテイラーが来日した時もライブに行きました。
そこでも輝ける日々やショウマストゴーオンを演奏しましたが
このCDと比べてみるとポールのボーカリストとしての才能を
再認識せざるを得ません。見事に曲を自分のものにし、歌い上げてます。
なによりも、音だけなのに楽しんでいる雰囲気がバシバシと伝わってくるのです。
できれ~~ばライブに行く皆さん、このCDはライブの後、余韻に浸る為に
買ってください。Q＋Pの素晴らしさはライブ当日まで楽しみに
していた方がいいと思いますよ。
そして残念ながらライブに行けない皆さま、
すぐにこのCDを買って素晴らしさを体験してください。
まるでライブ会場にいるかのように雰囲気が伝わってきますから！~

Queen, Free, Bad.Co…そうした看板（先入観）は除外して聴いて下さい。とにかく圧倒的な演奏！ポールロジャースのヴォーカルが鬼のように素晴らしいことは今更いうまでもないですが、Queenの楽曲をこれほど骨太に唄いこなすとは。そしてそこかしこにちりばめられたフレディへのリスペクト、もう理屈じゃありません。泣けます。ポールの唄うボヘミアン・・・なんて！というあなたにこそ聞いて欲しい、と思います。栄光のブリティッシュ・ハードロック、背筋が寒くなるほどのカタストロフィ。ボヘミアン・・・からクロージングのゴットセイヴザクィーンまでが特に圧巻。The Show Must Go Onあたりでは鬼気迫るフレディの姿が重なって泣けて泣けて仕方ありませんでした。このユニットに心からの敬意を！

ポールロジャースを迎えての再結成（？）は大いに疑問だったのだが、
聴いて見るとQUEENらしさは充分保たれており、ポールロジャースのライブにQUEENのメンバーが参加しただけの様なチグハグさはない。
ただ、残念なのはジョン・ディーコンが参加していないこと（引退したのかな？）。ロジャーテイラーのVoが、かなりフィーチャーされているのも、このアルバムの大きな特徴の１つだ。

このライブのDVDもリリースされるようだ。
