まず最初に…「三国無双とは似て非なるゲーム」であることに注意！

このゲームを評価しない方は三国無双と同様の爽快感を期待した人が多いのでは…？

爽快さにはやや欠けるものの，配下の武将を指示して攻略する醍醐味はなかなかです。
遠距離から弓を射かけたあと，槍隊を突入させ，
ショートレンジのチャンバラが膠着状態になったら，弁慶に暴れさせる…など，
配下武将にどのような技能を覚えさせるかによって自分なりの戦術を組み立てることができ，
三国無双とは，いい意味での差別化が図られています。

…とはいうものの，まだシステム全体が煮詰まっていない荒い印象も否定できません。
次回作に大いに期待したいところです。

このゲームのもっとも評価すべき点は，
戦国や幕末に比べ，ややマイナーなこの時代にスポットを当てて成功していることでしょう。
人物造形についても，古典『平家』などのイメージを大きく損なわない範囲で
魅力的なキャラクター造りがされています（やや稚拙な印象も受けますが）。
時代背景を知るための「義経記」なるデータベースも充実しています。

「義経英雄伝」の続編（？）として発売しましたが、いろいろな面で修正させていたり、追加されていたりして結構遊べるゲームです。前作は義経篇のみでしたが、今作から義仲篇・平家篇の二つが追加され、面白さが増しました。
そして、前作よりもやり込み度も上がりました。武器・作戦・アイテム・画集・人物など幅広い面での向上がみられます。中には条件を満たした時のみ取得出来るのもあるので、意外と遣り甲斐があります。
物語は史実に忠実に再現されており、その時代に生きた武将たちに生き様を知ることが出来ます。この時代背景が、ゲームを通して少しではありますが、知ることが出来ました。
EDは泣けました。EDもほぼ史実通りです。この時に表示されるテロップが悲しすぎて・・・。とっても格好良い生き様でした。
源平好き、この時代が好きという方にお勧めします。

源平合戦好きならこの作品は面白いと思う。
わりと史実に忠実なので、プレイしていて嬉しい限りです。
「作戦」がなかなか面白い要素で、連策を続けるのも楽しい。
ムービーが本当に泣ける…!!
