メンバーはロンドンを主な拠点にオペラの舞台に立っているプロの声楽家。彼らがオペラアリアを中心としたクラシックとクラシックアレンジを施されたポップスを見事なハーモニーでうたい上げるのがコンセプトのグループと言ってよいでしょう。
プロの声楽家だけあって、歌声は見事。しかし、五重唱で歌う前提でアレンジされているせいか、いかにも声楽曲という感じは押えられていてすっきりと聴きやすい構成になっています。オペラというと敷居が高い印象がありますが、このような聴きやすいＣＤを取っ掛かりに親しんでいくのもいいかもしれません。

クラシックとポップスを絶妙な匙加減で融合した男女混声のヴォーカル・グループ、AMICI　FOREVERの０５年発表の２ｎｄアルバム。

圧倒的なクオリティを誇った前作「THE　OPERA　BAND」に比べると若干好みのメロが減ったせいか、リピート回数も少なかったが、それでも思わず舌を巻く素晴らしい歌唱が十二分に堪能できる逸品という事実に変わりは無く、ドラマティックなクラシカル・メロディが伸びやかに炸裂する＃１“La　Fiamma　Sacra”で我が美メロ魂を鷲掴み。

その他もジョシュ・グローバンのヴァージョンでも知られるフォスター作の名曲＃３“The　Prayer”や、アルビノーニの＃１１“Adagio”、クイーンの代表曲＃１３“We　Are　The　Champions”などの極上の楽曲が並ぶ様はやはり圧巻というほか無い。

わかりやすいメロのクラシックが好きで、ポップスも聴けるリスナーには堪らない内容の作品。

クラシックをある程度聞きこんでいる人にも、満足できるだけの歌唱力のあるグループだと思います。うまいと言っていい。
こういうのは流行りなんでしょうね。流行に乗ってうまく出てきたのは、ほかのグループでIl Divoがあるのですが、このグループに比べて歌唱力はこちらの方がダントツ上だと思います。
ポップな仕上がりでも、歌いこなしているだけでなく、声もいい。
