私はCCCDはゼッタイに買いません。　「Chaos and Creation in the Back Yard」で非CCCDのDVD付きは、今のところUS盤しか無い様ですので、買うならDVD付きのUS盤CDですね。

DVDには英語、日本語とも字幕は出ませんでした。
CDの内容はアコースティックサイケ、歴史的名作です。
日本盤にある「ボーナス・トラック」は未収録ですが、「シークレット・トラック」は入っています。

FlamingPieに続くほぼ何でも自分で演奏しちゃってるアルバム第4弾ですが
ゴドリッチにプロデュースを任せたのは正解。彼を推薦したジョージマーティンは流石！　AbbeyRoadやSGTのような「手抜き無し」さが一番嬉しい。「何度聞いても飽きない」「遊び曲が無い」という意味ではBand on the run やVenus & MarsやTug of war並だと思います。彼はどうしても1・2曲の超遊び曲を入れてしまう癖があるのですがそれがない！　パンチの効いた曲はないが、アルバム全般に安定感あるのが心地よいです。「クセになる曲」＝「最初違和感ありの曲」ってのがまた不思議。
How kind of you,At the mercy,Riding to Vanity fairの3曲がまさにそれ！　一方で彼らしいThis never happend before, Anyway, Jennywrenもいいし。それとシングルのB面も手抜きなしなのはWings以来かな。
FinelineB面のComfort of loveなんてA面でもよしだし、JennyWrenのB面のI want you to fly, This loving gameにしたって通常ならアルバム
に収録されても良いデキだとおもう。グラミー4部門ノミネートだけの
ことはある。今回は辛口のプロデューサに刺激され久しぶりに気合の
入った出来。ゴドリッチ曰く「今回一緒に仕事してみて、ポールはもっと評価されるべき。最高傑作をつくりたかったんです」も納得！
