噂どうりの中高音域の解像度は素晴しいですね。
私は主にジャズを聴いていますが、細かいニュアンスもハッキリ聴き取ることが出来ます。
音の抜けが良いと言いますか、音楽の輪郭がハッキリしている様な・・。
個人の好みにもよりますが、この価格帯では一番モニター系の音質だと思います。
本体の作りですが、Y字でコードには弾力が有り、絡みにくいです。
イヤフォンの部分に施されているイエローは、このページの写真よりもっとポップで綺麗です。
付属のケースもポップでカワイイです。
ちなみにプラグはL型で金メッキはしてありません。
いずれにしても購入して後悔する事は、無いと思いますよ。

私はKOSSのSPARKPLUGの音に飽きたのでバランスのいい
AKGのK12Pにしました。日本のSONYやPanasonicにはない
きれいで全くチープな感じのない音質でした。
iPodnanoとSONYNW-E605で使ってますが、
iPodとこのイヤホンの組み合わせはあまりお勧めできませんね。
ものすごく軽く薄っぺらくなってしまいます。
SONYのほうだといいおと出します。
音質では☆5つですが、コードがなにしろ硬くまっすぐに
なろうとしてしまうので、胸ポケットの位置に入れるのは
ちょっときついですね。ズボンのポケットなどに入れたら
ちょうどいいのではないかと思います。

　JBLを売っているゼネラル通商さんが扱っているAKGのインナイヤフォンと言う事で興味を持ち、K12Pを買って見ました。
　中低音に膨らみがあり、明朗で軽快な音作りです。
　SENNHISER MX500と比べると・・・あそこまで華やかな音では無い。
　SENNHISER MX550と比べると・・・あそこまで細やかな音では無い。
　と言う事になってしまいますが。
　それは決して質が低いと言う訳では無く、MDやMP3等のデジタル圧縮を使用した音源のアラがマスクされ、むしろ聴き易く感じられます。
　SENNHISERの硬質な音に比べると聴き疲れしない音作りとも言えます。
　特にアナログ育ちで中途半端に耳が肥えてしまっていると・・・。
　SENNHISERで聴くソリッドステートオーディオプレイヤの音はデジタル圧縮のアラが耳につついて聴き疲れするかも知れませんが。
　AKG K12P/K14Pなら、程よくアラがマスクされるので、むしろ聴き易いかもしれません。
　ソリッドステートオーディオプレイヤの音を付属のチープなイヤフォンでしか聴いた事が無い人でも、誰でもこの良さはわかるんじゃないかと思います。
　そう言った意味で、AKG K12P/K14Pは誰にでも薦められるオールマイティな逸品だと思います。
