もちろん両方とも、すばらしい作品だと思います。
舞台版が好きな人と映画版が好きな人と　
まっぷたつに分かれるのではないでしょうか？

視覚的な効果は　やはり映画版が栄えるでしょう。
しかし、もともと芝居として作られ演目ですから、
いかにテレビ画面に収まったとはいえ迫力はあります。

また　いわゆる敵役・邪空については、
渡部さんＶＳ伊原さん。これは「比べがい」があると思います。

舞台には２０００年上演版や１９９７年上演版もあるそうなので、
４つを比較してみたいなと、私個人の願望です。

演劇と映画を比較することが、そもそもナンセンス。ではあるが、元々の新★感線の舞台がビジュアル志向の映画的な演出が持ち味だったわけで、本作の変遷は当然の事だったのかもしれないし、幸せな事であったのだと思う。

ビデオで演劇を見る場合、収録時のカメラ構図が立体的になる事が違和感の源泉となることが多いのだが、先の理由から、むしろ映画と演劇の中間にある、面白い表現になっていると思う。

個人的には、多少説明不足ではあるもののスピード感というところで、映画版の方が好みに合う。演劇は演劇で、生々しい迫力というのは捨てがたい魅力ではあるのだが。そういう意味での見所は美惨役の夏木マリ。語尾をソプラノで延ばし、ビブラートを利かせと、貫禄のテクニックを見せ付けてくれる。こういうのが嬉しいね。
