アーティストについて

70年代より「夕焼け楽団」「サンセッツ」を率い、英国、オランダ、豪州、ニュージーランド、カナダ、ジャマイカ、アメリカ等世界各国でライブを行う。90年代はディック・リーのプロデュースをはじめ東南アジアのポップスに深く関わり、プロデューサーとして活躍。'99年には細野晴臣氏とのユニット、ハリー＆マックを結成し、シンガーとしての活動も再開。プロデューサー、プレイヤーとして、さまざまなジャンルを包括した、柔軟性のある音楽を展開している。

凄く気に入って、今ずーっと聴いています。
バリの楽器やバリ語の語り、自然音（水の音・鳥の声・虫の声）、
を取り入れて、うま〜く曲にしてあって、
普通にティンクリック（竹琴）の演奏も１曲入っているし、
通して聴いたときのバランスが良くて聴きやすい！
いい感じにバリの雰囲気が出てておすすめです（＾▽＾）。
ついている写真（多分Ubudのhotel IBAH）も美しくて癒されます〜

哀愁感のあるアジアンなバリ、というところが巷に溢れる普通のガムランCDとの
大きな違いでしょう。
音数は少なめ、隙間たっぷり。その分空気感が感じられます。
ガムランの不思議な倍音の響きの間に虫や鳥の声、水や風の流れを感じさる。
暑い夏、湿った梅雨には清涼感を与え、寒い冬には南の島の夢を届けます。
あのサウダージ感はバリの要素だけではなく、ジャワの要素が混じってるからなのか。
解説（細野晴臣）にあるバリのボサノヴァ的解釈というのも、言い得て妙。
すばらしい。

次作のバリ・ドリームも楽しみです。

癒し系といえば、そうなんですが
好みが別れるかもしれないですね

ガムランほどではないにしろ、やや民族的な音であろことは確か
個人的には好みなので気に入ってますが、誰もが聴きやすいとなると疑問？

１０曲目は特にいいメロディで何度もリピートしたほど・・
これだけでも個人的には満足しているんです
