デビュー直後のアイドル活動もあまり目立たず、｢アイドル歌手→声優｣の転向で道が開けた宍戸留美さん。｢ママレードボーイ｣の次番組で、矢沢あいさん原作からの｢ご近所物語｣(平成7年9月〜平成8年9月)で、主人公｢幸田実果子｣の声優デビューした時、実は｢主題歌歌手兼任｣という形となって、まさにそこから、今の宍戸さんの大活躍が始まったと思っていいでしょう。そのためにかえって｢ご近所物語｣と一対で語られることになってしまったのですけどね。
…曲の変遷は、OPがずっと｢1-1｣、EDは｢1-3→2-1｣となっています。劇場版(平成8年3月)ではOPが｢1-1｣で、EDに｢1-8｣が流れ、挿入歌に｢1-9｣が流れました。｢1-2｣は｢1-5｣の正式版で、｢1-5｣の方を実際にTV版｢ご近所物語｣で流しました。
この終了から2年後、同局･同時間帯でスタートした｢おジャ魔女どれみ｣シリーズでも、2つ目の｢どれみ＃｣(平成12年2月〜平成13年1月)以降で｢瀬川おんぷ｣役で出演して、ユニット｢MAHO堂｣のメンバーとなり、そこでもキャラクターソングを多く歌っていますよ。

もう、多くのアニメ通にしてみれば、アイドル時代の歌曲がむしろ｢黒歴史｣で、このCDに収録された宍戸さんの曲全部だけが｢宍戸留美さんの歌の世界・全体｣と思っていることでしょう^^;(違いますよー) 。
