・ミュージック・ビデオ２６曲の大作。
・言葉で説明するのは難しいが、キーワードは「陰影のある美しさ」だろうか。モノクロームの作品が多い。自分が担当する曲を厳選しているようだ。最初の作品は1984年。時代を感じさせるものはあるが、その美しさは維持されている。アントンの詳しいインタビューが記載されている、美しいブックレットも付いている。
・私は、デイヴィッド･シルヴィアンの“Red Guitar”を目当てに買った。今まで市販されておらず、本当に待ちに待ったものだ。正に、幻想的な美しさ。
・監督を切り口にしているため、多様なアーティストの曲が聴けるという効果もある。観たことがないビデオがほとんどだったが、曲・ビデオ共に気に入った。

アントン･コービンを中心にさまざまなアーティストを楽しめるDVD。

面白かったのは、エコー＆ザ・バニーメン、デペッシュ・モードなど当時トガっていたミュージシャン達の現在の姿をインタビューで見ることができること。

ニューオーダーの連中にいたっては、単なる短パンはいたオヤジ。相変わらずの口の悪さは当時の面影を彷彿とさせますが。

1曲目のプロパガンダはさすがに古くささが感じられるとともに音も悪い。他のもこの調子か、とちょっと不安になったが、後の曲は音は問題なし。

曲に魅力がないとビデオも凡庸に見えるという当たり前のことを再確認しました。

ベストはジョニ･ミッチェルとピーター･ガブリエルのデュエット、♪My Secret Place　でしょうか。女装したU2も見ものかな。
