某メーカーさんへ…。次は3D出しましょう!『空飛ぶ十字拳』も出しましょう!今の技術なら良いもの作れるはずです。多少高くなってもいいから。

これジャッキー映画の中でも結構マニアックな映画ですよね。
日本劇場未公開、テレビ放送のみとなっている映画。
当時本国での劇場公開時には3Dメガネで見ると飛び出て見えるという変わった映画でした。作品中のカメラアングルにその名残が残ってます。
登場人物達のキャラは立ちまくってます。
指が6本ある男、人間の皮をはぐ義盗賊・・などなど。
カンフー映画というよりSF的な内容になってます。今見るとチープな感じですが、多少残酷なシーンもあります（両腕をもぎ取られたり、顔の皮をはがされる女性など）。ジャッキーも他の共演者もワイヤーアクションしまくりですから本格的なカンフー映画だと思って見るとヤバイです。
ストーリーは全然違いますが、SFの入り具合が僕的にはジャッキー版「里見八犬伝」って感じです。
ちなみにストーリーは最後ばっちり尻切れトンボです。
ですが、日本ではテレビ放送された時の画質が非常に悪かった為に、今作のリマスター版は非常に嬉しい！
かなり強引なストーリー展開だったりしますが、個人的には凄く好み。
星4点あげたい映画だったりします、残りの星１個はもうジャッキー映画名物「吹替え無し」が原因です。
一般の方が見るなら星は３つくらいですかね？
子供が見るには少し残酷だし、大人が見るにはストーリーが子供向けってノリですから。

作品の内容はともかく．．．やっぱブルース・リャンに尽きますね！
「カンフーハッスル」で初めて彼の存在を知った方にはお勧めの1本です。
日本では「帰ってきたドラゴン」、「闘え！ドラゴン」（BOX)、Gメン'75（BOX)ぐらいしか彼を堪能できるDVDは無いと思います。
全盛期より若干ウエイトアップしたにもかかわらず、あの”和製ドラゴン”倉田保昭氏をして「ブルース・リーと甲乙つけがたい」と言わしめた動きも随所に見られます。
