前作『Even So』より1年4か月ぶり、通算8枚目のオリジナルアルバム。前作に続いてトーレ・ヨハンソンとの強力タッグに加え、その門下生の若手プロデュースユニット、Burning Chicken ともコラボ。独特のユーモアから派生するプログラミング・アレンジ、80's感あふれるシンセなど、新しい魅力を備えたBonnie Pinkサウンドが鮮やかな作品。

前作で復活したトーレ・ヨハンセンらスウェーデン組との相性がよほどよかったようで、パワー・ポップからダンス・ミュージック寄りの曲までこなれた風情で歌っていく。案外スタッフ気質の強い人なのだろう、感情が前面に出てこない反面、完成度は高い。

Bonnie Pink（姓名判断で今は全部大文字にしたらしいが小文字交じりの方がかっこいいと思うのでこうさせてもらいます）、
デビュー10周年で、御年32歳ですか。
オレンジ頭のとんがった女の子というイメージだったのに早いものです。

しかし、このアルバムといいこの前の「Even So」といい最近の作品の充実ぶりは、
女性アーティスト（安易に使いたくない言葉だが彼女にはぴったり）の理想形と思える成長ぶりです。
捨て曲なしというのがこの人のすごいところ。

ちょっと聴くと地味に思える曲も何度も聴くとBonnie Pinkの味が出で来ます。
「Heaven's Kitchen」の頃を求める人には違和感があるかもしれないが、
あれはあの年の彼女だから作れた曲。今は今の彼女が作れる曲をしっかり作っていると思います。

「So Wonderful」は爽快で力強いポップス。「Robotomy」はBP流ブルース。
「Cotton Candy」は昔のU2にも通じる清浄さと力強さを感じます。
「日々草」はまさに今のBonnie Pinkにしか作れない世界。

それから、ライブに行った事が無い人はぜひ生で見ることをお勧めします。
R&Bグルーブあり、シンガーソングライターっぽいしっとりさあり、
ハードロックテイストあり、ポップに盛り上がる局面あり、、。
CDで聴くより、歌が上手いのが良く分かります。
ギターも昔よりうまくなったんだろうな、、。

オレンジ頭の時にも行っておけばよかった。
時は戻らない！

前作“Even So”から１年数ヶ月ぶりの新作ですが、アルバムを出すたびにいつも違った音を聞かせてくれるアーティストだと思います！
今回は全体的にすごく明るい曲調が多いし、80'sをうまく使っているなーと思いました。80'sの音ってちょいダサいイメージがありますが、ここまで大胆に使うと逆にすごいかっこいいです！
全部名曲ですが、特に“mirror”“monster”“rise & shine”がおすすめです！
今回もいつもと同様するめアルバムなので、ぜひぜひ聞いてみたください♪

やっぱりPOPでキュートでそれでいて切ないBONNIE'S　WORLDは最高です。曲はありきたりでないし、なんと言っても歌詞が最高にいい！何でこんなに人の心に響くんだろうと思います。次も期待大☆
