彼女が　Overnight Celebrity　にTwistaと出演してからというもの、アメリカ中で有名になり、注目を浴びるようになった。

個人的には彼女のヴァイオリン音色、かなり好きです。　Sunshine to the Rainはクラシックですね、ホント。　しかも超キレイだし。　個人的なことですが、昔の恋人を思い出します。。　

Shout out to Chardey for sharing this mutual musical taste with me!

4.0 out of 5 stars 豪華!!ほとんどオムニバス状態, 2006/1/19
これ素通りしちゃいけませんよ！まずHip Hopをヴァイオリンで演奏するってだけで画期的で興味を引くのに、このアルバムはその上曲の出来が良くゲストが超豪華!!　素通りしてはいけないというか知っちゃったら素通りできない要素だらけです。
と、いうことで「見つけちゃった。素通りできなかった。」自分の感想を述べたいと思います。
まず目玉になるのがMissy Elliott[Lose Control]、Timbaland & Magoo[Drop]、Mariah Carey[It's Like That]など、関わる曲は大ヒット！Lil Jonとならぶ(というよりそれ以上)煽り隊長！のFatman Scoopの参加した３です。テンションあがりまくりな一曲です。やってくれますね煽り隊長！
また、Anthony HamiltonとScarfaceというこれまた外さない二人の作った６も目玉でしょう(Anthony Hamiltonの方は12で再登場。そっちも素晴らしい)。Anthony Hamiltonの歌声と彼女のヴァイオリンが噛み合わないはずがなく、渋くも心地よい最高な一曲です。前にレヴューされた方も言っていますがクラシックですよ。
このアルバムには勿論Kanye Westも関わっており、４、10と二曲も素晴らしい曲を作ってくれてます。４はゲストにFabolous、Kanye West、Musiqを招いていて、この四人の雰囲気がお互いを引き立て、雰囲気を崩さず、すさまじい出来の一曲になっています(自分はこの曲が一番好きです)。
もう一曲のKanyeプロデュースの10、はNew World Symphonyというタイトルから想像できるとおり「新世界　第四楽章」をサンプリングした曲で、彼女のヴァイオリンと重なるコーラスから、ノリノリなのにどこか荘厳な印象を受けます。
他にもすでに共演して相性の良さは保障済みのLil Moとの５や、ダークな雰囲気のトラックにお互いの雰囲気を崩さず絡むStyles Pとの２、Kanye West軍団から派遣されたJohn LegendとConsequence(Q-Tipの従兄弟！)との13、Cash Money軍団との意外な相性のよさを見せ付ける11、相性は疑うまでもない、同じ雰囲気を持つAkonとの９なんかも素晴らしい楽曲に仕上がっています。
ただInstrumentalの８、14みたいな曲も普通にいいんでもう少しそういう曲を入れてさらに画期的なアルバムにしてくれてもよかったんじゃないかな、というような気もします。
あと雰囲気が終始貫かれている点も評価したいのですが、ヴァイオリンなどの音になれない自分としては、一本調子で最後まで聴くと多少飽きがくるような気がします。清涼剤的に何か変わった曲を挟んだりしてもよかったんじゃないですかね。その点も考えて自分の中での点数は4.3点くらいです。
最後にボーナストラックとして15にはJump & Spread Out(３)のレゲトンリミックスも収録されています。Fatman ScoopのフックとトラックはほとんどそのままにZion、Lennox、PitBullというレゲトンアーティスト三人でマイクを回します。レゲトンには大して興味もない自分ですがこのRemixは楽しめました。というか原曲と同じくらい好きです。
これからのHip Hopの動向に大いに関わりそうな画期的な要素を持つ彼女の活躍が楽しみです。
