福山雅治、通算20枚目のシングルはフジテレビ系ドラマ『スローダンス』（2005年7月~放映）の主題歌。今作はドラマのために書き下ろした作品で、初の「月9」主題歌担当としても話題。

アコースティックでシンプル、そして渋い！
前曲「泣いたりしないで」も良かったが、もう１歩踏み込んでもっと良くなった。
派手な福山さんもいいが、個人的にこの方向は好きだ。
一見地味だが、着古したジーンズの格好良さだ。
ずっと、大切にして欲しい

吉川忠英さんなどが良く大器晩成だよねましゃ。
って言っておられましたが、ファンも年々渋さや、聴かせる。
といった表現力を身に着けていく福山さんを、ここ最近、僕も
感じます。
無駄（とは決して言いませんが）な音や効果を省いて、
歌声で勝負に出てみたり。凄く染みます。静かな曲でも熱い！
一般に広く受け入れられるとか、そういうのは、あんまり関係ない
というか、それを評価の対象にしないので。
とてもいい曲だと思います。

曲ももちろんいいんですが、イメージクリップもステキ♪
どちらか迷ってる方は、DVD付きをオススメします。
