方々で指摘されている通り、voの声質はRUSHに酷似してます。
SFチックなコンセプトも「2112」期のRUSHを彷彿とさせるものです。
当然、RUSH好き（私）なら気に入る作品なのですが、メロディの起伏
はRUSH以上に煽情的で日本人好み。
（特に冒頭からtk-6までの流れはお見事。）
RUSHが苦手な方も一聴の価値有り！な作品だと思います。

このアルバムは、バンドの名であるcoheedとcambriaの夫妻を軸に展開するSF叙事詩を描いた作品の3枚目である。しかし構成的に少しややこしく物語は4部構成であり、1stアルバムが第2部、前作が第3部、今回と次の作品が2枚で第4部、そして5枚目が第1部となっている。スターウォーズかよとツッコミたくなる感もあるが、音楽的にはシンプルな曲もあればプログレッシブ・ロックのように非常に凝った構成の曲もあり、全体を通してポップで聞きやすく、個人的にはヴォーカルからどうしてもRUSHを想像してしまう。なおかつ前述のように歌詞も非常に奥の深いものになっており、聞き応えは十分あると思う。

前作の出来が素晴らしく、個人的には待ちに待った一枚。
何が良いって、ギターのバッキング！！！繊細で凝っていて、メロディアス。
一音一音が丁寧に練られていて、ついバッキングに耳がつられます。
ボーカルは見た目に似合わず（失礼！）RUSHのケディ・リーを思わせる
少し可愛い感じの高音を聴かせます。
1st.はいまいちだったけど、前作と今作の充実度は只者ではないっ！
ボーナストラックのLIVEバージョンも良いではないかっ！
聞くところによるとメンバーの一人のビザがおりないとかで、来日が
延期になったりしてますが、早いところ来日頼むっ！
