ＴＯＴＯの流れを汲むウエストコースト、スタジオミュージシャン系サウンド。計算されつくしたアンサンブルは聴けば聞くほど完成度の高さに驚かされる。ペイジズ３作どれも愛聴版だがイカロスジョンソンが弾きまくってるこの２枚目が特に好き。

でもコアなファンはいるにせよメジャーでない美味しい音楽ゆえの、ひそやかな楽しみっつーのが評価を実質以上に上げてるってのはあるかも。
ＴＯＴＯと立場が逆だったら今程入れ込んでないかも。例えて言うなら有名レストランより、今流行の隠れ家的レストランってやつかな。

哀愁を感じさせるボーカルを聞かせるためのバンド。セッション、スタジオミュージシャンあがりなのでけっこう『器用で芸達者』だ。なんでもできてしまうところはトトみたいだ。なのでいまひとつ個性はアピールしてこないが。キーワードは『さわやかさ』『コーラスの美しさ』。ユーザーとしてはクリストファークロスと重なるのではないのか。そのへんが好きな人にはアピールするかも。楽曲が決定打がなく残念。

5.0 out of 5 stars 音質向上！！！, 2007/8/10
通常版は確か1991年ころの発売ですので、格段に今回の方が音がクリアーでレンジが広くなっています。個人的には紙ジャケでない方が整理しやすいのでありがたいのですが。内容も1st、3rdと甲乙つけがたい優れた内容ですので、ファンなら是非。
