最後はシリアスでしたね。
もともと、旅の目的がひまわりの侍を探すことだったから、長い旅だったけれど、あっけなく会えたのですが、それも束の間、
会話もあっけなく、別れもあっさりとしていて、過剰とも言えるような演出なんぞ、ここには皆無でしたね。
一見現代風なセリフ(シリアスな場面は古風だが)で服装や雰囲気もはっちゃけていますが。
なかなか中身が濃くて重い作品でありましたね。
ムゲンとジンは別に最強てな訳ないのですね。
公儀達はそれだけ選り優りな訳だから、勝っても言わば辛勝なんですね。
運よく、たまたま生き残った。
よくあるパワーインフレ的なマンガは主人公は先ずやられても次は余裕で相手をのす。そして強くなる。
力とか、信念とか、生き甲斐とか、その世界において己れが折れずに突っ張って行くというエッセンスが表われていると。
すっきりとした終わり方でよかった。

最終話はハラハラものの展開でした。
予測しない展開が続いたのでずっと吸い込まれる様に見てました。
コンテの切り方が上手い。さすがサムライチャンプルーって感じ。

最後に、フウとムゲンとジンは別々の道を進む形になりますが、
私の予感だと、どうせまたどっかで出くわしてドタバタ劇を繰り返すんだろうなと思ったりしました。
だって、いつもそうだったでしょ（笑）。

　とにかく圧巻なのが最終話。
なんで、ナベシンさんが、脚本、絵コンテ、演出に関わるとここまで素晴らしいものになるのでしょう。いやあ、やっぱこの人凄いわ。
　とても深く結ばれているのに、馴れ合わないビパップにも通ずる仲間関係。
演出の仕方が本当巧い。
　音楽もやはり、センス抜群。構図も絶妙。
アニメーターになりたい人、漫画家になりたい人に限らず、映像関係に関わりたい人は一度、見ておいた方が絶対いいですよ！
