Apple純正のACアダプターの接続不良が酷くなってきたため、PowerBookG4 アルミニウム（15inch）用に購入しました。純正品と比較し注意事項がいくつかありますので、こちらに記載しておきます。

【良い点】
・純正よりもケーブル長が長い
・純正品と比べ可動部が少ないので、接続不良を起こしにくい
・黒一色のACアダプタが多い中、ホワイトがあるのは良いです。

【悪い点】
・接続の状態を知らせるLEDランプが無いため、充電の状態が分かりません。
（画面上のバッテリー表示を見るか、直接バッテリーのボタンを押すかしないと分かりません／ACアダプタの電源ボックス側には電源を供給していることだけをお知らせする電源ランプはあります。）

・バッテリーを使用せずに、このACアダプタだけで使用した場合、電源のオンやスリープからの復帰が出来ません。つまり、電源ON時、もしくはスリープの復帰時には必ずバッテリーが必要となります。その後すぐにバッテリーを外しても大丈夫なのですが、バッテリーが無い（もしくはバッテリーが空だと。）と起動やスリープからの復帰すら出来ないのは致命的です。

【総論】
純正品とは違い、値段が安いという点では非常に魅力的ですが、ACアダプタ単体での使用が出来ないという点においてやはり大きなデメリットとなります。（ちゃんとそれが明記されていれば良いのですが、、、）

これから買うことを検討される方／また、バッテリーを使わずにACアダプタだけで使用されることを考えている方は要注意です。

一番初期のiBook Dual USBのACアダプターが、とうとう接触不良になったので購入しました。純製品を購入するか迷いましたが、ものは試しとこちらを購入しました。今のところ正常に使用できますし、特に問題ないです。また、付属のACアダプターは、円盤型のもので、コンセントのケーブルが特殊な3線のものでしたが、本製品は、コンセントのケーブルが普通のタイプのものなので、海外でも使える汎用のケーブルを用意すれば、海外旅行にも持っていけます。

Apple iBook Dual USB で使用してます。もちろん問題はありません。なにより、低価格であり、「お知らせランプ」機能がとても嬉しいです。購入前は、純製品を使用しておりましたが、接触不良になり、つながってるのかハッキリとわからず不便を感じてました。このアダプタは、ランプがつく事でつながってるのかがわかり、ましてや色でチャージ中かどうかまでわかるので、とても満足しております。
