映画に続きドラマの『いま、会いにゆきます』の主題歌も彼らが担当。ということで今回も、グッド・メロディを大きなスケールで歌い上げたお得意のパターンで不器用な恋の行方をドラマティックに彩ってます。サビに重なる三線の響きが気持ちいい。

ドラマーのKATCHAN脱退後、初のリリースとなる12枚目のシングル。ピアノとストリングス、そして三線がバンド・サウンドと一体となってドラマティックに膨らむタイトル曲はTBS系日曜劇場『いま、会いにゆきます』主題歌ということであるが、いつになくエモーショナルな楽曲になっているのは、おそらくKATCHANの脱退を受けて書かれたからであろう。バンド全体でスキルアップを図っている最中の脱退劇は彼らにとって痛手であるはずだが、今後、この新機軸といえる楽曲から広がっていく予感も。 (小野田雄) --- 2005年09月号

昨日、「情熱大陸」という番組を観る前、『花』へのレヴューを書いた。
そして観終わって今日、『キズナ』へのレヴューを書いている。

このふたつの曲には、個人的な “想い” があって、
２曲とも、はじめて聴いた時、なみだが止まらなかった。

「変わってしまった…」と思っていた彼らの “こころ” は、
ちゃんと、ひとりひとりのなかに変わらずにあるということ…

…そして、自分にとっての “たいせつなキズナ” を想い、
星空を見上げた夜だった。

今までの盗作疑惑などを抜きにして考えてみても、お世辞にも良い曲だよ、と人に勧められない程度の、安っぽいバラードだと思った。

私は彼らについて詳しく知っているわけではないが、この曲に彼らの故郷や、脱退した仲間に向けて作った曲だとしたら、その気持ちはこの程度なのであろう。所詮飾り立てた言葉を並べただけの、『売れる』曲。

それほど思い入れがあるのなら下手でもいいから素直な言葉で歌詞を書いてほしかったし、こんな中途半端なもので大切なキズナを表現してほしくない。

ただ、盲目なファンの意見同様、ただけなすのもどうかと思うが。

ひとついえるのは、買うほどのものじゃないということです。

ファンの方には申し訳ないのですが、
この歌のどこがいいかわかりません。

別にオレンジレンジだけを責める訳ではないんですけど、
最近のJpopは感動したり、このシングル(アルバムも)
買いたい！と思える物があまりにも少なくなってしまいました。
非常に悲しいことです…
