EXCITE3は満園英二（DRUMS）満園庄太郎（BASS）の兄弟と橋本ジュン（GUITAR）の３ピースバンド。1998年にインディーズよりファーストアルバムが発売されるが、レーベルの事情により、初回プレスの1000枚のみが流通（レアアイテムになり現在も入手困難）し話題になる。その後も年間10箇所程度というペースでライブを行なっているが、広く告知を行なわないにも拘らず、ライブはソールドアウト状態になるという人気ぶりである。
今回リリースした作品は、CD（フルアルバム）+DVD（ライブ＋イメージ）で、特にDVDはライブの迫力あるイメージがストレートに伝わっている。
楽曲は、インストゥルメンタルで大口径のバスドラを使用した迫力あるサウンドに仕上がっている。インストといえども数々の有名バンド在籍（バウワウ・WILD FLAG・黒夢・SADS・TWINZAR・B'zなど）サポートによって培われた経験値の高いテクニックから産み出されるサウンドは十二分に聞き応えのある楽曲に仕上がっている。
