激化するHIMEの対決！動き出すシアーズ財団！初登場する命のチャイルド！復活する深優！
…其の時舞は凪に接触する！！
とまぁ、物語も佳境に入り色々見所はあるが、取り敢えず主役の座が舞から静留に移ったとしか言えない第8巻！
…実らぬ恋と分かっていても、その想いを抑えきれない静留は彼女をその毒牙？にかけてしまう。全てを知られた時、静留は彼女にこう言い放つ！「あんたの嫌なもんは全てウチが倒したるさかい！」
兎にも角にも、“静留ファンなら黙って買っとけ！”っな第8巻。

この作品は、前半だけを見ると、男性向け深夜に目にありがちな、女性の立場からは不快に思えることもある描写が目に付くのですが、後半からの登場人物の心理描写には舌を巻くものがあります。その精緻な心理描写を凝縮したのがこの8巻です。私はここまで物事を考えさせられるアニメに出会ったのはEVA以来です。しばらく落ち着いていたオタクの血が騒ぎ出してしまいました。
　8巻収録の21話から23話でスポットが当てられる二人の少女の関わりからは、人が人を想う際に生ずる種々の問題：愛によって駆り立てられる狂気、愛が生む生身の人間の醜さを読み取ることが出来ます。うろ覚えですが、「何一つ思うとおりに行かないこの世界で、唯一思うとおりになるものがあるとすれば、それは自分の想いだけ」という内容の台詞が、愛の危うさと切なさを感じさせます。
　また、少女漫画の世界では描けない、虚飾の無い現実味を帯びたどろどろした人間の内側を垣間見ることが出来るのです。そして、続く9巻の24,25話では、その人間の醜さを最初は拒絶するも次第に受け入れていく少女の成長が描かれます。よって、9巻とセットでお勧めです。
　作画はとても丁寧ですし、声優さんもとても良い仕事をしておりクオリティの高い作品だと思います。作画について触れたので、映像に関して特筆すべきはキャラクターの表情の豊かさです。普通なら女の子にさせないようなリアルな表情に胸を打たれます。憎しみ、怒り、絶望、情欲、哀切など、正常な見地からすれば負の感情を美少女の顔に浮かばせたスタッフに脱帽でした。星10コつけたいぐらいです。

なつきの絡みを描いた、本編は　必見だぜ・・・・？！
