これを見てから、映画好きになりました。
子ども２人は、もともと監督が見つけてきた普通の素人の子ですが、その素人っぽさがとてもよかったです。
最後のシーンで、アリの足に金魚が寄ってくるところで、ふっと涙が出てきて止まらなくなりました。
最初から最後まで、自然な映画でした。音楽も好きです。

今のハリウッド映画のように、大仕掛けなトリックやねじくれたストーリー、鬼面人を驚かすカメラワークやＳＦＸ、著名な”セレブ”俳優を使わずとも、素晴らしい映画が撮れるというお手本みたいな作品。

子どもたちの自然な演技、笑顔や泣き顔に、心が癒やされます。
＜運動靴＞や＜金魚＞といった小物の使い方が秀逸で、結末自体に感動したわけではないのに、涙がこぼれました。

ハリウッドでたくさんのスケールの大きな映画
が創られてる中、これは本当に簡素な映画であるけれど、
涙が出てくるほどの感動作に仕上がっている。
妹の靴を失くした貧乏な少年が妹のために新しい靴を得るために
孤軍奮闘して、マラソンでひたすら走る物語であるが、これだけシンプ
ルな物語なのに、妹を思い、貧乏の両親を思い、迷惑かけないように
何とか自分の手で靴を手に入れようとする少年のいじらしさ。
今はもう日本では忘れかけられてしまってる両親や妹へのいじらしい
愛情。心が洗われるほど素晴らしい作品である。
家族への愛情を忘れた方も、そうでない方にもお薦めしたい。
