ＳＳ版ではプレミアがついたほどの人気ゲーム。
今回ＰＳＰに移植したのをキッカケに購入してみました。
画面は今では珍しい２Ｄですが、私的にそれがとても良かったです。
戦闘はアクションですが、操作がそれほど難しくなく、
私のようなアクション苦手な人でも、ちゃんとクリアすることが出来ました。
キャラの動きがとても可愛いです。
ＰＳＰ作品の中では良作の部類に入ると思います。
どこでもセーブは出来ないので、そこだけがちょっと面倒だったかな・・。

王冠の少女が、主人公のゲームです。話が進むと大剣の青年や魔法少女などの話もプレイ出来るように
なります。

物語は、王冠の少女グラドリエル＝ド＝ヴァレンディア、大剣を背負った初年エドワード＝グロースター、
眼帯をしたポートガス＝クリスフォード 、箒に跨った魔法少女のプロセルピナがある。
グラドリエル＝ド＝ヴァレンディアは、やや行動が遅いがそれが剣を振り回している気になれる。

ゲームは、連続攻撃やボタンを長押しで発動する必殺技に魔宝石や魔法を使用したりなど、多種多様です。
2D描写に強かったセガサターンのソフトだけに絵は、細部まで緻密に書き込まれており、プレイヤーしだい
では、意外な所でその恩恵があるかもしれません。
古き良き時代のゲームです。一度プレイしてもいいと思います。

SSの名作ですが万人受けする作品ではないので注意。攻撃パターンが少なく、戦闘が単調になりがちだし、後半のダンジョンも長くてつらい。グラフィックやキャラクターを愛せる人向けです。可愛らしくかつ気品を感じさせるグラドリエル、逆に子供っぽさ全開のプロセルピナなんか最高です。買った方には気長に最終シナリオまでプレイして欲しいですね。現在こういう『2Dグラフィックで大きいキャラが滑らかにアニメーション』する作品は据置機ではほぼ作られなくなり、これだけの規模の作品はこの先出ないでしょう。2Dグラフィックの一つの集大成として記憶に残る作品です。できれば据置機に移植して欲しかったですけどね。
