【プロフィール】
テレビ朝日の長寿番組「世界の車窓から」のテーマ曲でもお馴染みの、チェリストとして、又、サウンドプロデューサーとして幅広い顔を持つ溝口肇。1986年にはアルバム「ハーフインチデザート」でソロデビュー、日本たばこ「ピースライト」のCM出演とともに一躍脚光を浴びる。以来、CM、テレビ、映画など数多くの劇中音楽を手掛け、作曲家としても活躍。

カーペンターズが歌っていた曲として私が知っている曲
（彼らのオリジナル以外も含め）は、その時のアレンジに近く、
とてもなつかしい。
チェロの音色が心地よく、これから秋に向けて聴くのにはぴったり。
溝口さんのCDを買ったのは初めてですが、買って損はなかったな、
という実感です。よく知られた曲ばかりの中で、どのように自分の
カラーを出せるかとラジオで話しておられましたが、選曲も含めて
共感がもてるし、彼の音楽性がにじみ出ていると感じました。オリ
ジナルのイメージを敢えてを壊さずというのが、とてもよかった
ように思いました。

先日、整体に行ったら、このアルバムが流れていました。
好きなピアノの音、落ち着いたチェロの音、
そして整体で肩こり解消、
すごく気持ちの良い時間を過ごせました。

中でも「ニュー・シネマ・パラダイス」が一番好きです。

初めて溝口さんのＣＤを購入しました。いろいろと迷った結果選んだ一枚です。チェロの音色がとても心地よく、リビングで書け流していたり、読書をするときにぴったりです。音楽に詳しくない私でも、耳にしたことのある曲が多く大好きになりました。
