今、日本のクラブシーンで最も多忙な人のうちの一人である野崎さん。
やはり波に乗る野崎さんが作り出す作品は今までとは一味違います。
アツいです！！！！！

ラテンフレーバーが強めです。MadrugadaやVerdades路線の曲が数曲。
今までの繊細な（特にHorizon好きな方）ジャズトロのイメージをお持ちの方は意外に思うかもしれませんが、
これも野崎さんの多面性のほんの一面ですから（多分）、じっくり聴きこんでみましょう。
きっとジャズトロらしさがどこかで見出せるはずだし、良い意味で変わっている部分もありますよ。
ジャズトロサウンドは進化しまくっているんですね！！
ちなみに、このラテンな雰囲気がジャズトロの全てというわけでもないので、
次回作は新たなジャズトロが聴けそうですよ！お楽しみに。
お約束の日本語詞の歌モノは、今回、今井美樹をフィーチャー！
いつもの歌姫ちゃんたちとはまた違った雰囲気を醸しています。
ゴスペラーズの黒沢薫さんも日本語詞で一曲参加しています。

ライブも毎回大盛況のジャズトロ、シーンに新しい風を吹き込んでくれそうです。
新たなフェーズに移行していくジャズトロの動向には今後も注目です。

「人喰いロック」である。タイトルもジャケットも、これまでの
ジャズトロの瀟洒で上品な印象とは全く違って、ワイルドで
アグレッシヴ。商品を間違えたかと思うほど。

だがご安心を。中身はしっかりジャズトロである。表題曲も、
もっと激しく攻撃的な曲なのかと身構えていたら、いつもの
知的なリズムと洒落たコード。ちょっと拍子抜けするほどだ。

話を聞いたときはすこしびっくりした今井美樹のヴォーカル。
聴いてみればこれまでの彼の日本語曲の延長線上にある
声なのだと気付かされる。そしてやっぱり、彼女は上手だ。
上手にまとまりすぎて喰い足りない、と思うのは贅沢かな。

全体的に電子臭が抜けて、よりエスニックに、グルーヴィに、
ファンキィに、ダンサブルに。突き抜けるようなエッジ感は
ないけど、稀有なバランス感覚と極上のコードワークは健在、
全篇に渡ってハイクオリティ。今回はガンガンに踊れますよ。

ジャズなのかポップスなのかラテンなのか…なんとも形容しがたい「音」ですが
一曲一曲じっくり聞いていると、いつの間にかクセになって頭から離れなくなる、そんな音です。
もともと今井美樹のゲストヴォーカルに惚れて買ったんですが、
聞いてみたらなんとゴスペラーズの人も歌ってた…！
２人とも歌うまいのでちょっと得した気分ですｖ(笑)
