アクションコメディと形容するのが一番近いでしょうか。
「大いなる幻影」「ショーシャンクの空に」「ノッキンオンザヘブンズドア」など仏米独の名作のパロディがてんこ盛りです。
映画好きにはそのシーンを探すだけでも楽しめそうです。
監督のキム・サンジンさんは「アタック・ザ・ガスステーション」「風林高」を撮っており、
特に「アタック・ザ・ガスステーション」に通じるハチャメチャさがあります。
韓国でヒットしたようですが、カン・ウソク監督はきっとこの作品を見て
シルミドの俳優をキャスティングしたのではないかと感じました。
特にクライマックスのソル・ギョングさんの熱弁はシルミドを彷彿させました。

「ＳＩＬＭＩＤＯ」「オアシス」の‘カメレオン俳優’ソル・ギョングと「アタック・ザ・ガスステーション」「ライターをつけろ！」のチャ・スンウォンの痛快アクション・ムービー！？

恋人に振られそうになり、急遽脱獄した囚人２人、喜んだのもつかの間、自分達が‘特赦（特定の者に対する刑の免除）対象’だった事を知って、愕然とする。ソル・ギョングの混乱ぶりがタノシイ！

楽しみなのが名作パロディシーンで、パンを盗んで捕まる（「レ・ミゼラブル」）ほか、「大脱走」「パピヨン」「ショーシャンクの空に」、と満載です！是非、見つけましょう。

監督は、「アタック・ザ・ガスステーション」のキム・サンジン監督です。
「ホテリアー」のソン・ユナも恋人役で出演。

　原題は「光復節特赦」。歯切れの良い展開で思わず「ププッ」と笑ってしまうシーンがてんこ盛り。
　この作品を最初に知ったとき、「日本でお目にかかれるのか？」と思いつつ、いつの間にかレンタルコーナーに並んでいたのでかなり驚いた。パッケージを見ても「光復節」の言葉すらない。意図的に外したのかと思ってしまった。
　視点を変えれば実にデリケートなことなのに、コメディとして自国でヒットするところは韓国ってなんて太っ腹と思ってしまいます。
　チャ・スンウォンさん演じるチェ・ムソクが「ショーシャンクの空に」をパロったのも印象的でしたが、かなり後半で広場（？）でカラオケで賑わうシーンがなぜか「ペパーミント・キャンディー」の１シーンと重なったのは私だけ？
