DVD購入で一番気になるのはリアルタイム放送時との違い。というわけで、第4話のヤカンの水がお湯になってました。やはり迫力が全然違います。これだけでもチェックする価値はあると思います。

　夜中の25:30という「おたくの時間帯」に放送されているテレビシリーズをDVD化したもの。私の場合いつもVTRで録画されていたものを見ていたので、こういったDVD発売の企画があるのは大変嬉しい限りです。テレビの放送52回分が13枚のDVDになるようです。DVD化が放送後半年程度とすると、全部揃うのは2006年の9月頃でしょう。

　テレビではレターボックスの放送ですが、ワイドテレビのズームモードで見ていました。DVDでは恐らく最初から16:9で480ラインでの映像処理になるでしょうから、その場合はフルモードでの表示が可能になります。このため画質的には大きな向上が期待できます。

　このテレビシリーズの声優さんですが、姫川亜弓役は矢島晶子さん（＝クレヨンしんちゃん）なんですよね。実に特徴的で印象に残ります。声だけだと主役が食われてしまいそうです。そういえば主役の小林沙苗さんも時々クレヨンしんちゃんに出演していたりします。一番しっくり来る声優さんは、月影千草役の藤田淑子さんでしょうか。厳しさと優しさを合わせ持つ声です。早く発売してほしいものです。

『ガラスの仮面』は、妹が借りてきていたものを何気なく手にとって読んだのが始まりでした。
ちょうど劇中劇『真夏の夜の夢』の回だったのですが、夢中になって読んだ記憶があります。
以来、コミックを全巻そろえてどっぷりとその世界にはまったものです。

以前にもＴＶアニメ化やＯＶＡ化・ドラマ化などがされていますが、今作はそれらの中
でも出色の出来ではないでしょうか。現代風にキャラがアレンジされているので、最初
は多少違和感もありましたが、観ている内に原作と同様夢中になっている自分がいました。

特に第一回目は作画レベルも非常に高く、見応えがあります。また以前のＴＶアニメ版に
おいて、北島マヤ役を演じておられた勝生さんが姫川歌子役というのも、感慨深いものが
ありました。

まだ２巻目を見終わったところではありますが、１巻４話というボリュームのおかげで、
次がどうなるのか続きが（ストーリーは知っていても）気になって仕方がありません。
