　このベストは、以前LPで発売された、ザ・ベストやCDで発売されたビッグ・アーティスト・ベスト・コレクション（あんべ光俊・飛行船）とは、まったく別ジャケットを使用したベスト盤です。選曲は、ビッグ・アーティスト・ベスト・コレクションにすべて入っているものですが、収録曲の曲順は異なりますので、ファンの方のコレクションや、初めて聞く方には値段もリーズナブルでお勧めと思われます。

それにしても、アートワークといい選曲といい、あんべファンなら「はぁ？」と首をかしげたくなるようなアルバムですよこれ。メーカーの企画商品とはいえ、この愛情のなさ加減はヒドいよなぁ。しかもアーティストの欧文表記が「ANBE」になってるし（笑）。まだ「ビッグアーティストシリーズ」は選曲がへんてこりんでも、当時としては一部でもCDで音源が聴けるというのに価値があったけど、今この時期にこの商品はないだろう？担当者の愛がまるで感じられません。アルバム未収録の「何故」とかマニアック過ぎだろ！でも、たぶん「星の旅」はシングルバージョン（エンディングが短い）で、「Born to be Wild」はアルバムバージョンなんだろうなぁ…。
