4.0 out of 5 stars 大丈夫、いつものポラリスです。, 2005/9/22
ドラマーの坂田氏が抜けて、あらき氏、もしくは打ち込みのドラム。
でも、ゆったりとしたリズム、ゆったりとうねる柏原氏のベース、
そこに乗っかるちょっと切なくて、ちょっとほっとするギターと、
たゆたうようなオオヤ氏の唄、
という、ポラリスの基本構造はそのまんまです。
曲も、相変わらず良いです。

過去の曲を思い出すような曲もあって、人によっては「進歩が無い」とか
言うかもしれません、が、
それも含めてまさに「ポラリスの音」が詰まっているアルバムです。

そして、数曲で参加している原田郁子（クラムボン）の声、
最後の曲で参加している辻村氏（キセル）の声、
この二人の声の、オオヤ氏との相性のよさ、
そして、それでいて全く埋没しない個性の強さ、は
特筆すべきものでしょう。
特に原田さんとの曲は素敵です。

ポラリスを知っている方はどうぞ、安心して手にとってください。
ポラリスを知らない方で、これを聴いて気に入ったら、旧作も是非。
さらに、柏原氏のベースが気に入ったなら、フィッシュマンズも是非。

聴くほど好きになっていくアルバムです。
どの曲もゆったりしていて、ちょっと遠くから響いて来る感じ。肩の力を抜かせつつ、すんなりと心地よくカラダに入って来ます。ひとり静かに聴いてても淋しくしない（笑）ので、やさしいものに寄り添っていたい時なんかにおすすめ。
