2期目を迎えたTULIPの代表アルバムです。曲の構成は姫野2曲、宮城1曲、7曲は財津です。1は宮城のアップテンポな曲でオープニングに相応しい曲です。2は当時のJALのCM曲です。3はディスコ調の佳曲。4は姫野のバラードで詞は財津です。「博多っ子純情」「神様に感謝しなければ」と並ぶ姫野作品の代表曲です。5は軽快なロックナンバー。6はシングル曲で財津の声にぴったりな秀作。7は姫野の得意なポップスナンバー。8は財津が優しく歌い上げるスローなバラード。9は6のシングルのB面でミディアムな曲。そして、タイトル曲「I　dream」銃声の音が入った戦争をイメージさせる音から始まるイントロ、オルガンの演奏に引き継がれ、楽器のような財津の声が切々と優しく「平和」を歌っています。淡々と歌っているところがTULIPらしいと思います。この曲は時代を超えた今だからこそ多くの人に聞いてほしい曲です。それほど、力を持った曲です。是非、聞いてみてください。

集大成とも言えるべき作品。ダイナミックで雄大なチューリップワールド、それでいてポップでコーラスもうまい。曲作りが一番安定しているように感じる。リーダー一人に頼っていないのだが、これ以後メンバーは離れていく。ある意味完成されてしまったのか。
