これは素晴らしい作品ですね。
5曲目の”Still Believe”をラジオで聴いて、一発で好きになって
しまいました。「良いのはあの一曲だけかも･･･」と不安を抱きつつ
アルバムを購入してみると、他も良い曲ばかりです。
これほど完成度の高いアルバムも珍しいです。

音楽的にはNIGHTWISHとの共通点を感じますが、女性ヴォーカルの声
がかわいらしいのでLUNATICAの方が親しみやすいです。NIGHTWISHより
はロックしている印象です。

個人的には2004年のNo.1アルバムでした。

なかなか輸入版が購入できずに苦労したが、
なんとびっくり日本版の発売。
メロディ、音の厚み、Voの歌いっぷりともに及第点で
意外な掘り出し物だった。

オフィシャルサイトで試聴できるので聞いてみるのもいいだろう。
方向性が合致する人にとっては買いの１枚に違いない。

スイスの女性Voシンフォニックメタルバンド、ルナティカのアルバム。2004作
アングルの「アンドロメダとペルセウス」(だったか?)の絵画を使用した幻想的なジャケが印象的。
クラシカルでシンフォニックな女性Voメタル…と書くと、まるでNIGHTWISHのようだが
こちらのバンドはもう少したおやか…というかメタル度が多少低い感じ。
リズムやサウンドにややデジタリィな部分があり、メタル的な勢いよりもどちらかというと
エレゴシック的な感触がある。アンドレア嬢の歌唱はまだまだ成長の余地はありそうだが
サウンドのロマンティックな雰囲気はEDENBRIDGEなどのファンにもアピールするだろう。
