明らかに週間少年ジャンプ読者を対象としたキャラゲー･･･というところは今回置いときまして、システム面に偏ったレビューになりますが、
今作でもＤＳだからこそできる未体験の操作感には、毎度のことながら驚きと可能性を感じました。(バランスは若干問題ありますが)
触るメイドインワリオなどがタッチペンのアナログ感なら、こちらはボタンの数。

下画面に最大１６個まで大小様々な漫画のコマを自分好みに配置でき、タッチすることで上画面のバトルでなんらかのアクションが起こります。
操作キャラを変更したり、サポートキャラが助けてくれたり、攻撃力を上げたりライフを回復したり･･･その全てがワンタッチ操作なんです。
大げさな話、ＤＳのボタンが１６個も増えたとさえ(笑)

(さすがに１６個もあると格闘ゲームの性質上無理がありますが、実際は４コマや５コマといった大きなものが場所を取るので１６というのは本当に大げさな話。そこらへんも自分に合った調整が可能。)

キャラ単体操作はそれほど難しいものではなく、それでいて絶妙なコマンド連携でド派手な技を発動したり、複数の漫画キャラによるコンボ攻撃などが決まると大迫力で画面上が凄いことになります。
ペンやストラップだと細かい操作がしにくいので、手で直接触る場合、画面保護シートがあったほうが◎。

週間少年ジャンプが大好きならこのゲームも絶対大好きになれるはずです。
自分で操作できるキャラが1作品につき1キャラしかいない、もしくはサポートキャラしかいない作品があるのが残念ですが（ワンピース・ナルト・シャーマンキング・ボーボボ・ジョジョ・ドラゴンボールは2キャラ以上います）27作品参戦ということを考えれば妥当でしょう。
たしかに銀魂やデスノートやリボーンやグレイマンなど、ここ一、ニ年の漫画が多数登場し、黄金期のキャラがあまり出ないのはちょうど黄金期世代の方たちには残念だと思いますが……。俺はバッチリ今現在のジャンプが好きなので星5つをつけました。
よく掲示板などで「ドラゴンボールを知らずにワンピースで喜ぶ今の子どもたちは不幸だ」などといった書き込みを見かけますが俺はそうは思いません。昔の作品は昔の作品なりの、今の作品は今の作品なりの面白さがあって、どちらを好むかは人それぞれです。そこに幸も不幸もありません。

JUMP好きなので期待しつつ買ってみたんですが・・・残念です。登場キャラは多くて結構ですが、いかんせん、作品ごとの差がありすぎます。キャラの強さ、登場数など、偏りが大きい。ドラゴンボール、ワンピース、ナルトなどのファンのみなら楽しめるかもしれませんが、それ以外のファンの方、パッケージに騙されないように・・・。
