それほど洋楽には詳しくはないのですが、
おそらく最近のどのバンドよりもポップでキャッチーな曲がそろってます。

メンバーにキーボートの方がいるのでもちろんピコピコしてる曲が多いですし、
ヴォーカルのハイクリアーな声もこのポップな感じに合ってます。
歌詞も聴いててハズカシくなってしまうほどストレートな物ばかり…＊
"Say Goodnight"とかは特にバックストリートボーイズっぽいなと思いました。

ザ・カーズのギタリストさんがソロで参加していて、もちろん素晴らしいんですが、
このバンドはそれを抜きにしてもなかなかギターが上手いと思いました。

ただ、これでメインを歌っているEricはバンドを脱退したらしく、新ヴォーカルを迎えて
２ndは作られてます。うってかわってほんのりハスキー気味な声の方です。
これからの活動への期待と、ピアノをしっかり使った曲が聴きたかったので☆４つで！

軽ーい気持ちで聴けますよ＊＊
私は＃３、＃５、＃６、＃９、＃１０が特に好きです。

２００６年夏の某フェスで、たまたまライヴを観て彼らを知った。
知ってる曲がないにも関わらず、自然に体が動き出し、メロディに酔いしれてしまった。
その後、アルバムを購入。強力なパワーポップアルバムである。
印象的なギターリフや歌メロの連続が心地よい。一緒に歌える耳に残るサビもまた良い。
ＳＲー７１やマーヴェラス３あたりが好きな人ならストライクど真ん中かと。

雲ひとつない青空の下、爽やかな風を受けながら聴くのにぴったりなアルバムである。

近年稀に見るクオリティのアルバムですね。細かいアレンジも完璧にポップロックの手本だし、なんていっても曲そのものが際立っています。ビートルズ、チープトリック直系のメロディの良さ！しかしアイドルバンドとしての売り出しはいただけない。。。実際ライブもなかなか上手いんだし、アーティスト性を売りにしても全然売れると思うけどなぁ。
ま、これからの季節にぴったりのアッパーポップチューン満載だし、日本発売で売れまくるだろうから、気になる人は早めにチェックですよ！
