早速聞くと、懐かしいのと１２インチならではのＭＩＸの面白さで気分は８０年代へタイムスリップ！。
選曲はビルボードにランクインしたメジャーなところを押さえていて満足しています。昔の１２インチＬＰの輸入物は入手する時期を逃すとお目当ての曲が手に入らなかったのですが、今こうしてＣＤで聞けるのはうれしいばかり。
普段聞いていたオリジナルバージョンのイメージはそのままで長~く楽しめるので、知っている曲ばかりでも聞く価値はあります。

８０年代、当時のディスコで、１２インチ・ロングバージョンが大流行でしたね。
懐かしい想い出です。
ただ、１２ンチにもできの善し悪しがあって、かっこよくできたミックスもあれば、
原曲のイメージが崩れてしまうものもあり、当たりはずれがありました。
この１２インチコンピ集に収録の２０曲は、レベル高い方だと思います。
が、”ルック・オブ・ラブ”はダメですね。原曲の方が断然カッコイイです！！
一番のおすすめ、聴き所は、やはり８０’ｓの名曲”リラックス”ですね。
淡々としたリズムを刻んで進む曲調が見事です。
後、このＣＤの編集の問題ですが、前半、曲と曲との合間が無く、
ほとんど繋げた状態であるのに、後半はそれなりにスペースがあったりして。
マニアとしては、スペースしっかり空けて欲しかったと思います。
音は、なかなかいい感じで収録してあります。
エアロビのおともにぜひどうぞ！！

マイケル・センベロの「マニアック」とポール・ハードキャッスルの「１９」のロング・ヴァージョンが入っているだけで絶対買いでしょう！。多分どちらも初ＣＤ化だと思います。
