待っていました！私はこの映画を4月に渋谷で観ましたけどあれほど感動した音楽映画は観たことありません！
Bluesを愛している偉大なミュージシャンの共演。改めて音楽ってすばらしいマジックだと実感しました。
椅子から立ち上がって帽子を投げるパフォーマンスのソロモン・バーク、相変わらずマイペースに独自のブルースをプレイしているバディ、ブルースに敬意を払って伸び伸びと演奏していたタイラー、ペリーのエアロ・コンビ。やっぱり最後は王様のブルースで閉める演出。
本当に感動しました。おまけにこのライブ自体はイラク戦争の始まる前に行われて、戦争についてのウイットある批判メッセージもありグッド！

5.0 out of 5 stars 歌詞の無いＢＬＵＥＳなんて・・・, 2005/9/30
　大事なことを書き忘れてました。この映画が良いのは、歌われるＢＬＵＥＳの名曲の歌詞が字幕で流れることです。メロディー重視で今までなんとなく聴き流していた曲が、今回歌詞を理解することで更に身近になったような気がしています。『俺ァバクチ打ちさァ~！』などどいきなり唄われると、深刻さを通り越して笑えてしまいますが、このユーモアこそＢＬＵＥＳの原点なのかもしれません。
　ロバート・ジョンソンの伝説の１つに、「ＢＬＵＥＳの奥義を手に入れるため彼は悪魔に魂を売ったらしい」というのがありますが、ある意味、この映画の出演者は魂をＢＬＵＥＳに捧げていると思います（クラプトンは、『ＢＬＵＥＳの歌詞に出てくる悪魔って、たいがいは女のことだと思うよ･･･』などと言ってましたが）。
　老いたＢＬＵＥＳＭＡＮに、『最近は何でもかんでもＢＬＵＥＳを付けりゃいいと思っている奴が多いが違うんだ。ＢＬＵＥＳは１つさ。それは男と女なんだ。』などとつぶやかれると、思わず泣けてきませんか？

　☆が五つまでしかないので五つ☆ですけど、この映画にはいくら☆をつけても付け足りません！！

　この映画は2003年にニューヨークのラジオシティ・ミュージックホールで行われた「サルート・トゥ・ザ・ブルース」というコンサートの記録映像なのですが、一曲目のアフリカ民謡から、最後に登場したB.B.キングまでとにかく149分間鳥肌立ちっぱなしです！！

　個人的なことを言わせてもらうと、この映画は本来であればＤＶＤよりも映画館の音響システムの大音量で見てもらうと、その良さがより堪能できると思います。もう、こういう映画に出会ったときほど「家庭」という限界を残念に思うことはありませんね。いっそ、これを機会にプロジェクターを買ってしまおうかと思ってしまうほどです。もちろん、私は経済的にそんなことはできないのですが、もしもお金に余裕がある方であれば、この映画を見るためだけにプロジェクターや音響関係の設備を整えたとしても決して損はしないと思います！金をつぎ込んでも決して損はしない、それほどまでに素晴らしい作品です！もちろん、現段階で既に「家でも映画を見る環境は完璧！」という羨ましい方であれば、この映画は絶対に買いです！

　もう、とにかく良い！、良い！良い！良い！。良いとしか言えない！！この感動はぜひ多くの人に味わってもらいたいです！ブルース最高！！
