　IntelIXPを搭載した、高性能・高機能タイプのルータ。
　転送速度は十分で、機能も豊富。　Bフレッツで2セッションを同時に接続し、インターネットから70Mbpsオーバーでのダウンロードができた。
　2ポートのUSBポートがあり、USBメモリを取り付けてドキュメント保存に使ったり、プリンタを接続したりもできるのも良い。
　そのほか、VPN機能にしっかりと対応しており、IPSecゲートウェイやPPTPクライアント/サーバとしても利用でき、IPSec(768/DES/MD5)で16Mbps以上のスループットが確保できるので実用的といえるだろう。
　難点としては、ユーザインタフェイスがイマイチわかりにくい、またセキュリティ機能の誤動作がある点だろうか。　セキュリティ機能の中でIPSpoofブロックが手動でオフにすることができないのだが、この機能はVMwareBridgeタイプネットワークなどで誤動作してパケットを破棄してしまうことが多々ある。　メーカーのファームウェアアップデートに期待したいところだ。

知り合いのネットワークエンジニアにこの製品を勧めました。
VRRP機能搭載で価格も手ごろだったため。

なにげにプリントサーバ機能も搭載しています。

価格が安い割には機能が充実していると思います。
